Taskbar "Click to go to Desktop" Button missing

In my old install of XP on this computer, I had a button (icon) on the
taskbar to "Go to Desktop" (I think it's called SHOW DESKTOP). I use
that often when I have many things open and have a small monitor on this
laptop. Anyhow, that button is not showing on the bottom taskbar. How
do I put it there? I looked in Settings/Taskbar. Cant find it in
there, unless I'm missing something, or it's called soem weird name.
Thanks.

Create a text file in Notepad as follows:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save it as Show Desktop.scf then drag it to the Quick Launch bar.

Or just click on this link:
Restore/Add Show Desktop to Quick Launch (Line 61)

Also note that you can do the same thing with a keyboard shortcut
rather than a shortcut on the Quick Launch bar: the combination of the
Windows key + D or the Windows key + M.

Yea, it's borked for me.
It changed a while back, don't remember exactly when though.
Both IE8 and SM1119 are blocking popups from that site.
IE8 shows a blank screen. SM1119 shows a few words.
I'm not going to unblock to see what happens.

Yes, M for minimise [everything] and D for desktop, if those help you
remember them. (Keyboard shortcuts are usually quicker than mouse
actions for me as I don't have to position the mouse, but I realise
others' MMV.) Win-D is a toggle - i. e. repeating it brings all the
windows back as they were - though you don't need to do much in between
to prevent it working; Win-M isn't (AFAIK).

I just tried going there, and I got redirected too. And I belong to a
listserv that Kelly is (or at least was) a member of, and it's a while
since I've heard anything from her. So I don't know what's up with her
or with her site.
