Spooler does not clean printed jobs

Hi..
I have this gateway profile 5 computer printing to a HP laserjet 2200 dtn.
the problem is that every time I print something the job stays in the
spooler. I clean the spooler manually and works fine, until I send to print
something else and this new printing job stays in the spooler again. Please
can anybody tell me what would be the reason for this? I'm running win xp pro
spII. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Thanks, it's working fine so far.

Check HP for the driver fix but I don't think they dropped the fix to any
printer under the 4000 series.
