1) Check for viruses and spyware. Clean out all/any you find. These tend
to take your bandwidth away, with-out your knowledge.
2) Head over to www.dslreports.com and follow the tweaking guide. You can
really out do the tweaking if your PC is directly connected yo the
high-speed modem. If you are using a rourer/access point, then you need to
contact the unit's manufacturer for help.
