We installed Windows XP Service Pack 2 on a Dell Laptop to test our software
before recommending clients upgrade to ensure or software is compatible with
the service Pack.
Everything was going well until we tried running any installation package
that users InstallShield. A "class not registered" error is being displayed.
We have done nearly everything that InstallShield suggests, eg clean out
temp directory, clean out Common Files\Install shield, upgrade to latest
IKernel engine, etc.
The only thing left its to re-install Internet Explorer (currently using IE
6 and all latest hot fixes).
Are they any known issues with SP2 and InstallShield programs?
How does one go about re-installing IE?

Not that I know of.
