slow browsing

anyone have an idea as to why my computer is so slow
opening web pages? I have a broadband connection and my
downloads are still very fast. I have cleaned out my
temp internet file, I have used spy sweeper to get rid of
adware used cwshredder. Its still very slow opening
pages. Any ideas?

From any site? The overall speed is affected by
lots of things, including the web server you're
connecting to. So try different sites. Are they
all slow?
