Share DVD ROM drive & CD Writer to other clients

I have a peer to peer network at home and would like to share my DVD ROM
drive and CD Writer to other members on the LAN. I have shared hard disks
successfully but not on these two device. I can see all drives on other pcs
but cannot access the contents of disk. Can someone tell me how to do it on
Windows XP Pro.

Are the members all running XP? My network runs XP Pro
and works fine even with sharing many different drives.
Different versions of Windows support networks
differently.
 
No, one of Windows XP Home Edition, one of Windows ME and one of Windows 98.

I use XP-Home, and it works for me.
