Severe-Error

T

Tom Hale

After installing HP 7130 and its initial software
installation completes with no errors. When you reboot,
it begins installing the components. When it gets to the
screen where it will install additional software, two
erro boxes pop up. Both say 'SEVERE ERROR" and "Commit
failed - hresult=80004005". Then a final error message
pops uo with "Error info from Commit". "Device i/o has
not been initialized. You must set either the device info
property, or the port id, pram file name, pr\arm base
name, dot 4 lib name, and old lib name properties first.

A new computer, and the customer service sends you to
another company for support! Thats hp for you.
Try shut-down,on starting enter the BIOS,(usually tapping
the F1/Help key)exit page,select,load set-up defaults,
then save changes and exit BIOS.
