Service Pack 1 or 1a

Anytime I download this critical update I lose my mouse functions and also my internet. I have to either do a system restore or go to add/remove programs and get rid of it. What is the problem????
 
Don't know why SP1 or 1a is causing you problems but if you'll wait a day or
two SP2 will be out; it might not have the problem.

Please refrain from misinforming people. SP2 will *NOT* be released in "a
day or two" - the schedule is for the end of the month.
 
I just loaded SP 1 and now it just keeps rebooting itself, if I could see XP 1 would be willing to wait for SP 2 but I'm not sure that I would load it given the issues with SP 1. If you have any information Miss it would be apprciated. Thanks
