sending links or files by email

stopped working . when I right click on a file and say send by email it just
sits there and never sends . also when I do "file send link by email " it
also just sits there.
 
Glenn,

Which email client are you using? See if these commands help, from
Start/Run:

regsvr32 sendmail.dll
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

And if you're using Outlook Express, run this command as well:

msimn.exe /reg

no other than I now have a new error while trying, i am getting "an error
occurred while sending mail " I am using outlook 2003.
 
This error seems to be OL2003 specific. Try this question if Office/Outlook
newsgroups.
