Secure connections timing out

Hello
I'm having a problem getting timed out from a secure connection. I talked to the company whose website I'm connecting to and they said the problem is on my end. Is there a setting I can change under Internet options that increases the time limit for secure connections? I'm connecting through my company's network using my laptop. The site times out after a 1/2 hr. -45 mins. of inactivity. I'm going between site and excel where I have downloaded reports to work on. Thanks in advance for any help

The following article deals with increasing the timeout value for Internet
Explorer:

While I am unsure if the default timeout value applies to secure
connections, following these instructions should extend the default timeout
value.

You may be receiving these messages as a result of using InternetBoost, as
described in the article below:
