Search Program

My computer has somehow latched onto 2 different Search
programs , Lyco and Quick Search.....
I have tried going to "Add and Delete to get rid of them
and it won't delete them......I have tried looking for
them in my files and can't ......
I even have tried to do a restore to an earlier date but
even that didn't work !!
Any ideas on how to free my computer of these things ????
They pop up on screen wjen ever they want and its a
pain !!!
