SCANNER TO WORK

I UPGRADED TO XP FROM 98 BUT I CAN'T GET MY SCANNER TO WORK.I DOWNLOADED THE NEW DRIVERS AND STILL NO LUCK.ANY IDEAS?

caus you have your caps lock ON...please turn it off....OK...

Goto control panel
add new hardware, Make sure the scanner is plugged in and
power on get windows xpo to dtect it

The scanner you used with Windows 98 may not work with Windows XP. It would
help to know which scanner you are using. Were the drivers you downloaded
really XP drivers? You may find more help on the Scanner Manufacturer's
website.

IN your case I'd contact the scanner maker. Hopefully when you did your
upgrade you had the scanner disconnected as recommended to prevent
problems like yours.
