i am trying to network two computers i have a crossover cable between them
but i am still getting a network cable is unplugged message.On the server pc
i have a network card pro/100 ve network and on my client is a sis 900 pci
fast ethernet.
i have run the setup on both allready.with no luck.any suggestions would be
appreciated greatly.

First off, there is no "server" setup between two XP computers. They
run peer-to-peer.

If you are getting a "network cable unplugged" message:

1. One (or both) of your NICs could be bad and/or have an incorrect
driver installed.

2. The Crossover cable may be bad.
