Safe Mode Login

I found I had a virus called backdoor.daemonize so I went and searched on how to get rid of the file... I found this site

after getting to the part where it says to reboot into safe mode, I did, problem is when I reboot it asks for my password but everytime I put it in it doesn't work, says the password is incorrect. I know the password is correct. I even used old usernames that I had at one point. Nothing works. Any suggestions or maybe someone can help me get into the Run prompt to use msconfig, that way my computer doesn't keep booting into safe mode.
 
Hi cryptic,

You can try running in safe mode by pressing Alt + Ctrl + Del twice
when the computer is booting up, entering as administrator and
resetting passports.
