Windows Keeps Rebooting and Won't Start...

I tried installing Open Office on my computer running Windows XP Home. Now
the computer keeps rebooting and Windows won't start. I tried, "Last Known
Configuration" and also, "Safe Mode", but I have the same problem with them.
I tried, "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" and same problem.

I read that you could boot to Safe Mode with Command Prompt and run
rstrui.exe and it will run Restore normally even if you can't boot into
Windows. So, I used the Windows Setup Disk and went into Repair Mode. It
was asking for the Administrator Password. I don't remember there being one,
but when I press enter it says, "Invalid Password" and reboots after trying 3
times.

I found a software problem called, "NTFS for DOS" and ran rstrui.exe from
that, but it says that it can't be run from a DOS prompt. So, I'm out of
ideas. Can anyone help me? Thanks for your help and time... Steve

Can I install the hard drive into another of my computers so I can access the
hard drive, and copy the restore files from a previous restore over the
currupted ones to fix the problem? If so, what fixes do I need to copy over
and where are they located, etc. Thanks..

Yes you can install the drive as a slave in another computer. The second
question cannot be answered given that the cause of the problem has not
been identified.

Try booting with only keyboard, mouse and monitor connected.

It would help to see the complete Stop Error Report.

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Right click on
the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select Properties, Advanced,
Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck box before
Automatically Restart.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure. Check for variants
of the Stop Error message.

An alternative is to keep pressing the F8 key during Start-Up and select
option - Disable automatic restart on system failure.

Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration?

Did you read my original message? I explained all of that in there. Windows
won't boot up, the computer keeps rebooting. I tried Safe Mode, Safe Mode
Command Prompt and Last Known Good Configuration. All 3 has the same
problem. It just keeps rebooting. All of this was in my original message of
what the problem is and what I tried to fix it already. Since the problem
only happened after trying to install Open Office it seems to be a software
issue or driver issue or curupted Registry. I just need to know if I can
reverse it and get it to a previous state with out being able to boot to
Windows either on this computer or putting the hard drive into another
computer. Thanks...
