Right click in start menu

I've customized my start menu to include my most accessed menus, and I've
always been able to right click on either these menus or their subdirectories
and open them (or double-click on them to open them). A few weeks ago I lost
that function. When I right click I still get the open option, but when I
click on it, nothing happens. I have no idea why. I've searched for the
reason on this board, but haven't seen a similar post. Can someone help?

Thanks!
Rachel

I would install the latest service pak, or reinstall if
you already did. This fixes alot of glitches like the one
you are talking about.

I've tried to read a little bit about this, but I'm not as computer savvy as
I used to be :) I'm pretty sure I don't have and AVG programs running.
Could you maybe give me some details as to which files to delete or add? I'd
be so grateful. This has been driving me absolutely crazy!

Thanks!
