retreiving lost hard drive space

Hi can someone help
I have partitioned my hard drive twice so i had a C D E
drives, i then decided to delete these drives and did so
but my C drive the primary drive still only shows 5 GIG
When the total space is 14 GIG.
Does anyone know how to reclaim the lost space?????

Deleting the other drives does not automatically allocate their space
to C drive.
In fact you can't merge the space to C with Windows native tools
without destroying all data on C drive.

To preserve data you need to use a 3rd party application to add the
space to C:
http://www.bootitng.com/
http://www.powerquest.com/partitionmagic/
Data should be safe, back-up important data just in case.

what kind of process have you tried in deleting your partitions? have you tried using FDISK so that you'll be sure that you've deleted everything from logical, extended, etc..
