Unpartitioning a hard drive

I partitioned a 30 gig hard drive and now my C: drive
only has 3.4 gigs left and my D: drive has 14. Is there
a way to undelete my D partition and include that space
with my C: drive without loosing information? Please
help.

I'd recommend Partition Magic.

I'd also urge you most strongly to backup all your data before you go any further: use File and Settings Transfer Wizard. Save the file on your D Drive and then copy it across to CD's [as an extra precaution] , what the hell you now have a backup! Bonus!

Sure. Tighten down your 'loose' data before proceeding.

You'll need third party partitioning software to do what you desire.
There are several to choose from (try Google to find them). Even with
them, you may LOSE you data, so it's a good idea to back up first.

the safest way it to use drive image and make a image of drive d first then write it to dvd or cd....then you can use partition magic to combine the the 2 partitions but i might not be correct on this i believe you need as much space on the target drive(c) as you intend to move(d).....you might also be able to resize (d) first to free up more space and then resize (c) to pick up the slack....complicated but can be done

You are just making work for yourself.. Why not load new stuff onto D:?..

This is possible. There are many utilities that can do this. My
favorite would be Partition Magic. You can also try in Disk Manager.
Right click on My Computer, click Manage, then click on Disk Manager.
There should be that ability to remove a partition and then maybe expand
the first partition to take the rest of the unallocated file space.

Warning, deleting partitions/formatting, etc, will all cause loss of
data on the disk that you do it to. IE, deleting partition drive D:
will delete all data that was on D:, but C: will be ok
