restore function and help function missing

After cleaning up my system I have accidently deleted some system programs
because I’cant call ‘help und support’ and ‘restore’ function anymore!! With
the help and support function I get the message ‘can’t find helpctr.exe’ and
the restore function doesn’t start at all. Can somebody give me help to
reinstall this missing functions?! I have windowx xp with sp2. Thanks

Search google for Windows File Protection. You're bound to find something
about how to reinstall missing/corrupted windows files. I've done it myself,
but I dont remember what the command was.

From Start>Run type

sfc /scannow

You will need to have your XP CD to hand. if that doesn't work for System
Restore, you have to reinstall it.
