Removing Drives from SendTo Menu

In my Send To menu, my A:, C:, D:, and R: drives appear. I don't know
why these drives appear there, and I would like to remove them, but I
don't know how.

There are no references to A:, C:, D:, or R: in my "C:\Documents and
Settings\[user]\SendTo" directory, nor any other SendTo directory on my
system. I also have several other drives that don't appear, which makes
me even more baffled.

Someone please shed some light. There must be a simple answer.

Thanks. But C: and D: are listed, and they are fixed disks, not
removable. Why are they listed?

Removable drives are added automatically. You don't have to use them.

I just came across this, so it seems there is no (acceptable) solution:

I wondered that at your original post - I just assumed you had wierd drive mappings. But I specifically said removable drives in case. You'll have to poke about and see what windows thinks they are.

Open your send to folder, right click what you would like to remove and
choose delete. Note that by default this folder is hidden, you will have to
go into folder options in control panel to set it to show if it doesn't.
Once that is done, go to my computer, click on the default drive (usually
C), documents and settings, user name, and then open the send to menu. You
can also add things there if you'd like.

That doesn't work, and a cute thing happens when I try: The moment I
right click an unwanted drive that appears in the Send To menu, the
object that had initially been right clicked is sent to that drive.
