Removing a URL

Can anyone tell me how to remove a URL or address from the
drop down address bar in Win XP?

Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools>Internet Options> General tab. Click
on "Clear History" in lower right. If this fails to do it, do as Chris
suggests.
