Remote Printing

I can't get my printer to work. I have activated the shared printer option.
Any suggestions would be appricated.

Yeah - that's exactly not enough information.
Trying to share a locally connected printer from a PC to other PCs on the
local area network or WAN? Trying to get it to work via Remote Desktop?
Can you explain what you have/have not done and the setup of the network
which you are trying to set this up on? (Private IPs? Public IPs?
Firewall/Router probably configured? etc...)

Thanks for the reply.
I am working with windows xp. It is remote desktop. At one time I was
having some success with this, yet as I would try to print it would give me a
printer that would not print. I had a choice of three. I could print on two
of them. I deleted the one that would not print and that killed everything.
I do not know how to re-establish it. Any hints sure would be appreciated.

Well, are you using an account in Remote Desktop that has access to the
printer. With some printers, you can specify which users can access them.
