Where would I put the IP address? I have to (currently) have him invite me
and send the invitation by email. I can open the invitation but it doesn't
connect.

Thanks

I think I have the same problem. I'm wondering if Remote assistance is using
Hostname resolutiion instead of IP and the work around for it. "Note: That's
2 questions!" I can use Remote Desktop but not Assistance. both are using the
same ports right?...Sorry this is not an answer to your question but its in
addition to.

In the future - if you feel your question needs to be in multiple groups -
please cross-post as opposed to posting separate questions in each group.

Did you modify the remote assistance request after you received it to use
the external instead of the internal IP address?
