Hi, Start/run msconfig, look on the startup tab for a line that loads this reminder utility. Scroll down and select messenger, double click it, and select the startup type to disabled. Click Ok. Download and install the google toolbar: http://toolbar.google.com/ This will stop unwanted pop-ups. Download and install Ad-aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ Spybot Search and destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org Download and install these programs, use the "update" option and then scan your system for spyware and scumware. This should solve the problem.
