Recovery drive problem

hi,
i decided to do drive recovery on my computer because it is all messed up.
but when i press the VAIO recovery wizard button to do C drive recovery on my
sony PCG -k35, windows xp home, it tells me that the wizard can't find the
recovery partition.
can you guys tell me what should i do. thanks

Some oems,maybe VAIO leave a small partition on the hd to be used with
recovery or backup files,usually this eliminates a cd.Try going to run,type:
cmd In cmd typeiskPart In DiskPart type:list disk Type:list volume
Youre
recovery volume (partition) should be listed.Type:EXIT When thru.
