then reinstalled it would u lose the blaster worm patch ?
and if so can u still get the patch and where can u find

firewall on you will NOT be able to get the virus.

Before you even think of reinstalling and connecting to the Internet,
download the patch
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html
onto a floppy, do your reinstall thing and load the MSBlaster from the
floppy. Then work away at connecting to the Internet.
