question on XP Pro

I heard you can get an activation code by faxing in the
receipts I have a copy of XP pro and need to install it I
can not find the little tab and I am missing block of
numbers. Is this possible?

You get the serial number when you buy it. you can buy additional licence's
depending on your copy.
