Problem with Windows Movie Maker

I'm having a problem with Windows Movie Maker and it's been like this for two
days already. When I try to use it, five minutes in my project, it
automatically closes and all my project is lost; however, if I just open it
and leave it like that without actually using it, it will stay like that
without closing. I haven't touched anything so I don't know what the problem
is. If someone can help me, it'll be great.

Dude i have the same problem and like when i am making the movie when i hit
play in the preview area i have to play it from the very begining because the
preview will just freeze and it will act like it is still playing. can
someone please help me!!!!! you can reach me at (e-mail address removed)

I have the same problem... please email me if you get a "fix" for
it...cuz ..i hate it so much that i have to let the whole thing play
thru other wise it will freeze up on me!

hey...this kind of worked for me..but i just did the changes...so
hopefully you get good results.
