HOW DO I RECONNECT/RELINK MY MOVIE BACK TO TIMELINE/MOVIE MAKER

Greeting movie makers

How do i reconnect/relink/redirect my movie back to timeline/movie maker?

This is what happened:

1st......I originally created a movie in movie maker with effects, titles and
everything.

2nd.....I moved all my files, folders, everything from my old external 1TB
hard drive to my new external 1TB hard drive.

3rd.....I then disconnected my old hard drive once I knew the new hard drive
had everything on it from the old hard drive.

4th....I opened movie maker the next day and seen my movie project with all
red xxxs where the movie footage use to be.

5th....My new external has the footage but not relinked/redirect to movie
maker automatically like the old one.

So again, how do i relink/reconnect/redirect the footage back into windows
movie maker without starting all over again?

double-click any of the clips with the red X and browse to the new
location... if they are all in the same folder it'll redo all the links. If
not, you'll need to repeat it until you're finished.

Thanks PapaJohn

I figured it out before I read your reply. I knew it was simple to do. I
just couldn't remember it that day.

Dell wanted to charge $149.00 because my warranty had expired and microsoft
wanted to charge me $49.00 before they would explain to me how to relink the
movies. So sad after being a faithful customer to both over 6 years.

Thank again for your reply PAPAJOHN. You are correct and it worked in a
matter of seconds.

I have to wonder...if Charlie had opted
to pay the charges for support...would
the issue have been solved?
