Movie Maker freezes in 3rd phase

Hi,

Please be indulgent with my English translation of French dialogues on
Movie Maker ;-)

Using XP-SP3 (up-to date with MS update) and Movie Maker 2.1.4026.0,
Movie Maker never end when I want to record the video. If I request
saving a video on my computer, it stays on 0% and time remaining
indefinitely increase (more than 2000 minutes remaining).
If I click "Cancel", the warning "This step can take a few minutes"
never disappear and I must use task manager to close Movie Maker.
If I ask writing a CD or DVD, Movie Maker stay on "allocating disk space".

What do you suggest to solve this issue ?

Thanks

Jacques

More than likely...you have an issue
with incompatible source files.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer but all suggested solutions don't work. I think
my project and source.avi are good as I can use them without any problem
on Vista (unfortunately, I can't use this computer in order to acquire
from my Canon DV as i have no IEEE on it).

As you anything else to suggest ?

Jacques
