Problem with hibernate on my xpsp2

I am using an xp sp2 image from my company and I get an error:
Insufficient system resource exist to complete the api"

I searched and found KB 909095. I applied this patch, but it doesnt help.

In fact the patch installation was successful. However when I checked the
version of C:\windows\system32\Ntkrnlmp.exe and found its version
5.1.2600.2622, despite the patch installation being successful.

I am not able to solve this problem. Can someone please help me fix this
problem?
