Problem with Help & support Centre

Hi

I have a problem with my Help and support centre. I open it on the
start menu and it looks like it will open, The hard drive whirs and
the timer appears next to my pointer but it never appears.

I have downloaded a registry fix from the windowsxp website.... didn't
work

I have downloaded a fix from another site but still no joy... I am
doing a college course on IT at the moment and i really need to use
the help and support centre for my coursework... any suggestions?

Go to... Start / Run and type in: helpctr -regserver

To reinstall Help and Support:

Go to... C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right-click and choose install. You'll
need your XP CD available.

Note: The folder is hidden by default.
Go to... Start / Run and type in: control folders.
"View" tab... check "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide
extensions for known file types".
