Printing problem

I went from windows 98 to windows xp could someone tell
me why my printer won't work for me. I have tried
everything I can think of please HELP

First of all, not all printers will work on XP, you should
check for driver updates from the printer manufacture,
most of the times it is just an update that is needed..

Did you disconnect the printer during the upgrade to XP... if not, the
drivers have become corrupted and will not work. XP also needs new
drivers... it CANNOT user Windows9x drivers.
