Can print with dos program (AVON)

I had an old PC with windows 98 and had no problem printing with the DOS
running program.
Since I had to buy an a new PC (old motherboard went faulty) and
installed Windows XP, the DOS based program works fine but when I try
to print (from the DOS program) nothing happens.

If someone could guide me through or knows the solution, I would be
really greatful.

Note: I have installed the printer driver and it works fine when
printing from any other application that runs on Windows XP.

I have tried as it suggest but still printing is not possible from
dos.

I have also make a txt file of 2 line and tried to print it from dos,
and it still did not print/

Do I have to buy a program like DOSPRN to be able to print from dos in
windows XP
