printing from command prompt

S

stevehy

Here is my situation: My win2000pro computer has LaserJet5
attached to it. It printed fine and I could print from dos
apps and from command prompt. I bought new computer
(xppro) and networked them together via wireless. After
doing that, the win200pro machine (printer still
attached) will not print out of dos apps or command
prompt, but prints fine out of any windows app. When I try
to print from command prompt it says file is being printed
but nothing happens and print spool is empty. I can print
to this printer from the other machine (windows or command
prompt). I moved printer and attached to new
xppro machine and I could print from windows or command
prompt no problem. I tried deleting printer on win2000pro
machine and reinstalled to no avail. Surely someone can
help me solve this - I am out of things to check or try.
Thanks in advance!!!.
