Command Prompt Printing

Have Win2000 machine networked with Winxp machine.
LaserJet printer is attached to Win2000 machine. Cannot
print from command prompt from either machine. When I type
command at Winxp machine "net use LPT1: \\win2000
Machine\Laserjet /Persistent:yes" I can print from command
prompt on Winxp machine, but not the Win2000 machine. When
I use the same command on the Win2000 machine, I cannot
print from either machine, job just loops in print spool
and shows error. Someone please help - tell me what
commands to use on each machine etc etc..... Thanks in
advance!!!
