printer problems

I was printing material on the internet, my printer stopped
and it would not start up again. i thought it might have
some paper jammed in it but it didnot. it said i had x
amount of printing jobs left to print, so i cancelled all
documents that was to print. I cant get my printer to
start up again. I am computer ignorant, I can only browse
to try to find solutions to my problems
 
Pull all the plugs out of the printer for 10 to 15
seconds, replace and reboot then try again.
