Printer install problem.

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with one Windows 2000 Pro workstation in an office. All
other machines are fine.

When I try and install a printer through the add printer wizard or add
hardware wizard, just after clicking the finish button at the end of the
wizard, I get an error:

"Printer driver was not installed. Operation could not be completed"

This originally happened for a networked Xerox printer, but it appears I
can't install any printers on the computer. Tried local and network, LPT1 and
TCP/IP ports. I always get the same message.

The printers installed work fine, but I need to add a new printer.

Of course this computer belongs to the owner of the company.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
