Power Options sometimes don't work

Gary

My operating system is Windows XP professional, and my computer is a Dell
Dimension 5150.

My "Power Options" are set to Home/Office Desk, with "Turn Off Monitors" set
to 20 minutes, "Turn Off Hard Disks" set to "Never" and "System Standby" set
to "Never". It always seems to work as it should, except when I watch some
TV online using Hulu.com or some similar service. In that case I have to
turnoff/reboot the computer, and then it works fine again.

Anybody know what's happening here, and how I can avoid the need to reboot?

Why not use "Always On" profile and adjust it to never turn off anything
when you are using Hulu or some other similar service?
