Power Options

Here’s the problem.
I am running XP Pro. I have my screen saver set to come on after 8 minutes
and my Power Options (turn off monitor) for after 10 minutes..The problem is
the screen saver comes on correctly, but it never turns off the monitor. It
goes right back to the desk top, with no screen saver...


HELP PLS??????????

Greetings Wayne,
I think your screen saver time setting is your problem. Think about it,
screen saver comes on n 8 minutes, monitor off is set a 10 minutes, when the
screen saver activates the clock starts at 0 for the monitor and you must
wait the 10 minutes, in reality 18 minutes for the monitor to go off. Just a
suggestion!
