I have a screen saver and I have it set to come on in 7 minutes. Then in
display, I click the power button and I have my monitor to turn off after 45
minutes of inactivity. Well, it worked for over 3 years until now. Now my
monitor will not turn off?? Any suggestions?

Sometimes driver updates can cause a power savings issue. Also it
may be a background service or app that is resetting the inactivity timer.
Probably the last change made to the computer is likely the cause. You
might try a System Restore if this is a fairly recent change. I wouldn't
try to take the machine back more than 7-10 days.
