It's not large scale, but it is affecting a number of my
applications, requiring the possibly corrupted file.
"SHELL.DLL" is the file in question. For a while, all my
applications on XP were working perfectly. Now, when I
try to load, a window pops up saying that "SHELL.DLL is
not found", or something to that extent. I ran a search
on it, and I found two "SHELL.DLL"s, and they were
apparently in the right places (in folders "SYSTEM32"
and "I386"). Now, I think they are corrupted, since my
computer found them using a basic search. How can I
replace the files? I have my XP reinstallation CD, but I
can't find "SHELL.DLL" on it.
