Popup Blocker is in the way

I use a consultant's website regularly. Their tech department says that my
popup blocker is stopping various routines from happening on my computer. I
have turned off the popup blocker and I have unchecked the box in Internet
Options, however I am still having trouble. Any suggestions?

Well, what you can't access on that website and how the pop-up blocker is in
the way?.
What version of IE are you using and what Anti-Virus installed on your
computer, tell more Info if you need anybody to be able to help.

Uninstall any third party toolbars you may have installed.

Thanks. It was the Yahoo Toolbar. I entered the website in the list of
accessible sites and the downloads were successful. I have since removed the
Yahoo Toolbar since I never use any of it.
