Picture and Fax Viewer

For some reason my windows picture and fax viewer doesn't
work any more. When I try to preview thumb nails in any
folder I get no preview. When I try to open a file using
picture and fax viewer nothing happens.

Please Help

If Windows Picture and Fax viewer is not opening Try running this from
Start | Run | Type > regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

If you are just getting No Preview Available

Yeah I tried the regsvr32 shimgvw.dll and get an error
saying 'LoadLibrary("shimgvw.dll")failed - invalid access
to memory location'
The other solution you've listed I don't think is
relevant as I'm not an AOL or compuserve user.

Any further ideas? Thanks for helping

Try rebooting and typing again. Type sfc /scannow to check your files.

I tried that and nothing worked.
I ended up doing a restore from about 3 weeks ago. I
noticed Norton Antivirus wasn't functioning correctly as
well.

I spoke to another guy who had the same problem and he
said he ended up emptying the cache in the internet
options. Someone by the name of mary on this forum.
