no preview avaliable using windows picture and fax viewer

i have a folder of photo's of my new born daughter that i loaded onto my
laptop 24hrs ago with seemingly no probs (using windows xp). today when i go
to view these same photo's i get the "no preview avaliable" messsage from
picture and fax viewer. i have also tried to view these pics with microsoft
digital image pro 10 with the same result. i have tried several suggestions
to fix this prob from various forums with no success, can any help me??

Sounds like the photos are corrupted...
how were they downloaded to the computer?

Do you still have them on your memory chip - ie can you see them in
your camera?

If you have deleted them in the camera, as long as you haven't taken
many photos, you could always receover them. Hopefully change
desperate Dad to Happy Dad
