Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Does anyone know why my Windows Picture and Fax Viewer no longer works ?
I cannot view my photo's as thumbnails anymore, I have to open each one
individually using my Nikon program.

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type
(or copy/paste):

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"
