Photo Wizard Problem

Hi this is my first post on pcbanter, I must say having had
a good look round this place is awesome, Its good to be a part of it.

Seriously though i have developed a slight problem, Upto yesterday
whenever i plugged my digital camera in to upload pics from the memory
the photo wizard used to come up automatically when i plugged the usb
cable in and it would give me options of what i want to do with the
photos, IE open in a folder etc, Now and as i say since yesterday the
photo wizard box comes up but its just blank i have made sure the
common task is ticked in folders but its still not working, Could
someone please advise? as i am having to open a graphics programme
and its all quite time consuming. Also and i dont know if this will help
someone decide what the problem may be but yesterday when i plugged my
camera in i got a message ballon saying found new hardware xp installed
the camera automatically as removable drive g: this is all a bit odd as
i have had the camera and its been associated with my pc for 6 months
without a problem hope someone can help.
