print wizard no longer appears

Daniel

I have a Trust 750 LCD powercam, usually when I plug this into the USB
port the print wizard comes up. Now for some reason the wizard does
not appear. The camera still makes a noise, so it is connected to the
computer via the USB cable. I also noticed, in "my computer" that the
camera no longer appears as a disk drive. I am running windows XP.
What could be wrong or how could I fix this ?

Thanks,
Daniel.

Re-install the camera's drivers and its software that has the "print
wizard."

Unfortunately I cannot do that because the CD rom drive / rewriter
also recently stopped working.
I think the print wizard is part of windows XP.

I tried re-installing from the trust website, still no print wizard or
response from the camera.
It is a PC / windows problem because a friend tried the camera on his
PC and a download dialogue came up no problem.
Is there anything else i can do ?

Open My Computer, right-click the device, click Properties, AutoPlay,
and see if you can set it to run Print Wizard.

CD repair for XP:
http://aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip

Also try the following. You should back up the registry before making
changes:

Click Start, Run, type Regedit, click OK.
Locate this Registry Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class
Key Name: {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Value Data: [Delete All Value Data from UpperFilters and LowerFilters]
Note: Do not delete the Key or the Multi-String Values. Delete only the
data values.
Exit Registry and Reboot

Thanks all for the help, as it happens the camera was in "PC camera"
mode and that stops the still pics from appearing to the PC.

Thanks for reporting the solution. A hardware or peripheral ng might've
csuggested that right off.
