Outlook crashes when running spellcheck

I have a client having an ongoing problem of Outlook
crashing when running the spell checker. This doesn't
happen every time, however. Once Outlook crashes and is
restarted, the spell checker will complete without any
problems. Client is running Outlook 2002, SP2.
Application has been reinstalled but problem continues.

You need to delete the spell check files that Office/Outlook uses to do the
spell checking. I had the same problem once where Word would crash or hang
when you did a spell check. When you uninstall Outlook/Office there are many
files that are not deleted, you need to delete these spell check files so
that when you next install Outlook new uncorrupted spell check files are
created. The problem is I cannot remember which files are used for spell
