Hello

I'm running Outlook 2007 in a Citrix PS 4 environment

And, some users do not want the spellchecker to be enabled.

Therefore:
Can someone please tell me how I can completely disable the spell checker
in Outlook 2007 via GPO ?

I want the "Check spelling as you type" to be uncheked
I want the "Replace text as you type" to be unchecked
etc
etc

Have tried to disable all proofing options in the
outlk12.adm file in GPO
word12.adm file in GPO
office12.adm file in GPO

But the spellchecker is still enabled.

Help (!)

Thank you

Have you verified that the GPO actually gets applied to those clients?
Does the GPO work for Word?

Hi

The GPO gets applied.

We're only running Outlook 2007, not word

You can set it via the following registry key;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0\Office
Name: OutlookSpellingOptions
Type: REG_DWORD
Data: 0
